Challenge Your Worrying Thoughts

Are you aware of the fact that thoughts are not facts? They are just thoughts and don’t have to be true. When we ruminate, we begin to believe our thoughts reflect reality.
The problem here is not that they are seriously ill. The problem is that such people consider themselves to be ill.
When we ruminate, we accept our thoughts as facts. Instead, we need to identify and challenge our negative thoughts. Compare:
🗣“There is something wrong with my heart.”
🗣“I’m only telling myself that there is something wrong with my heart.”
Do you feel the difference?
It could be much easier if you’ll go through it with a therapist. For help or advice, you can schedule an appointment with Rostyslav Shemechko at 647-866-9061 or info@shemechko.com. Free psychological assistance during the war in Ukraine is available.
