Hypochondria or health anxiety is a condition in which a person is excessively and unduly worried about having a serious illness. It’s a tricky problem that needs professional help. We have already talked about the ways to recognize it. And what else could you do to help your friend?
– Encourage them to participate in normal activities.
– Help them adopt healthy habits.
– Recognize that rational explanations are not likely to help.
