Daily Rituals That Help You Combat Stress

Do you have some tiny daily rituals that help you relax and combat stress? It’s time to create them! Here are the first three tips to start from:
  • Put away your phone for 5 minutes and observe your surroundings – sounds, textures, colours.
  • Stretch gently or walk slowly for a few minutes, paying attention to each movement.
  • Journal a quick note: “What’s one small thing I appreciated today?”
  • Brew a cup of tea or coffee, savour the aroma, then take a single mindful sip.
  • Do a 2-minute body scan: notice tension, breathe in, breathe out, and release.
  • Light a candle or dim the lights, and listen to one of your favourite songs or a short playlist.
Start with one ritual at a time, on a consistent cue (like after waking or before bed). Consistency beats intensity.
