Calming Yourself Outside

Sometimes all of us become angry. The good news is that anger can save our life. The bad news is that it prevents us from making the right decision. So, what you can do to calm down if you want to stop yelling if you are not in danger?
  • ☕ Tell the other person that you need to leave for a few minutes. You can apologize when you get back.
  • ☕ Take a walk. Focus on your legs moving and your heart pumping, taking deep breaths.
  • ☕ Force yourself to notice 3 things around you. Distracting yourself for even a moment can break the momentum of your anger.
Do you have your own way to calm down?
